This year we had a summer packed with family time. One day the girls said they had had the "best day ever" after four swims and we started talking about how we could create more time to play and have fun as a family. 
So we are taking a maxi break from the everyday and have taken the plunge - we have both resigned from our jobs (aghhh!) and are off travelling Central America and America for 3 and a half months. 
We did it together 12 years ago and 7 years ago with a baby. 
This time there are now two little ones in tow!

By doing this we hope to create lifelong memories, encourage this in our children's lives and combine what Rob and I love most - family and travelling.
