Iranui Days

This summer was our longest on the boat yet with us getting to spend over 6 weeks all up. Our longest stretch was 14 days and that included a few 24+ hour stretches when we didn't leave our 38 foot home on the water. Time slows down and we get so much more real time together. It was when Sophia cried when we came home that I felt something had to change and we had to find ways to get more time all together...thought maybe not in the confines of a boat. Especially over winter.
She said we (probably just me) were always rushing around at home and weren't doing as much stuff together. When we came back it was straight back into our busy lives of school, work and work. Weekends were catch up time with us trying to get chores done and keep on top of everything we hadn't done in the week.
Over Easter we decided it was time to make it all happen and turn the talk into reality so I gave up my job  in case we had the opportunity to relocate with Rob's. In late May we made the decision we were invested in the trip now and it became our priority as Rob also resigned so we could make it happen regardless. Now its just over three weeks to go and we have a lot still to plan.

What's Happening?

Last year we took the plunge, left our jobs and set off travelling Central America and America for 3 and a half months. Now it’s 7 months later and we are off again to explore parts of South East Asia.
